Implementation Support Consultant Integration

OMP is a software and consulting company that delivers Supply Chain Planning Solutions to chemical, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, metals, flooring, paper & packaging and other industries. Some references are BASF, Procter & Gamble, Arcelor Mittal and Georgia -Pacific.
To fuel its Supply Chain Planning Solutions with data, OMP provides an integration platform including a specialized SAP integration solution. To further enhance the integration platform and support the rapid growth of OMP, we are looking for Implementation Support Consultant, Integration.
Your main challenge will be providing implementation support to customer solution project teams on our bi-directional integration solutions. You will work in a multi-disciplinary (C++, ABAP, …) global team where every discipline provides a piece of the complete integration solution. You will typically deal with all questions and issues related to the integration solutions which require technical knowledge and specific expertise.
To build and maintain expertise, you will have an implementation consultant role in many customer projects focused on the integration solution. You will grow to deliver expert knowledge in projects.
As an implementation support consultant, you will be involved in the technical analysis and development of our integration solutions based on specific project requirements. You ensure that high-quality, well-tested and documented solutions are delivered.
Depending on your interest and skills, other tasks can be combined in your daily tasks for an interesting and challenging job content to your liking. Some other roles are Technical Consultant, Knowledge expert, Solution Design Support Consultant.
You have a Master or Bachelor in Computer Science, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or a similar field with a solid IT background. Experience can be substituted for degree.
You have gained 1 to 3 years of experience in software implementation, troubleshooting, or in a support role and are determined to find solutions. Great analytical skills and problem-solving abilities complemented with a passion about complex software design and development are indispensable in this job.
You are customer-oriented and results-committed, and you rely on excellent communication skills.
Experience with or knowledge on some of the following concepts are considered a plus:
- Macro language coding (Visual Basic, C, or similar).
- Active knowledge of a version management system
- Data communication or transformation techniques
- Webservices technology (e.g. REST)
- SAP (PP and MM)
You are creative and eager to learn, and you can work autonomously.
You are fluent in English.

You are authorized to work in the US and willing to travel for training purposes.
