Office Assistant

Your Challenge

At OMP, you will be the administrative assistant for our Atlanta office and the first line of communication for visitors and callers to our office as well as a resource for our staff. Thus, a strong desire to help others and a commitment to represent OMP in a professional and friendly manner are essential. You know to handle changing tasks and priorities on a daily or hourly basis. Your to-do lists are concise, and you're constantly ensuring that things are moving along. Being proactive is inherent to your professional demeanor; you do not wait for situations to present themselves. Flexibility, creativity, and ingenuity are words that describe you well.


Main responsibilities:

  • Maintain and oversee all aspects of the reception area.

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.

  • Ship and receive mail and packages.

  • Update calendars, schedule meetings, book flights and manage room bookings.

  • Coordinate daily front desk activities and employee-related functions.

  • Provide administrative support where needed, including clerical receptionist duties.

  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.

  • Assist in vendor/supplier relationship management.

  • Support the Office Manager in providing facilities support and coordinating internal events, including liaising with suppliers and other third parties.

Your Profile

  • It’s essential that you have:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and a team player attitude that you demonstrate with your willingness to jump in and get the job done – no matter how big or small.

  • An adaptable, flexible and resourceful way of working, able to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

  • Experience with Google Suite and MS Office applications including Excel, Outlook and Word.

  • Knowledge of database systems.

  • A High School Diploma or GED.

  • At least four years previous experience as an Office Assistant.

It’d be great if you also had:

  • A high level of attention to detail and a curiosity to find better ways of working in the office.

  • The ability to work with little direction and solve problems as they pop up.

  • A good understanding of how this support role benefits the entire company.
