Product Analyst Integration
Location: Wommelgem, Antwerp; Drongen, Ghent (Belgium), Atlanta (USA)
OMP is a software and consulting company that delivers Supply Chain Planning Solutions to chemical, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, metals, flooring, paper & packaging and other industries. Some references are BASF, Procter &Gamble, Arcelor Mittal and Georgia -Pacific.
To fuel its Supply Chain Planning Solutions with data, OMP provides an integration platform including a specialized SAP integration solution. To further enhance the integration platform and support the rapid growth of OMP, we are looking for a Product Analyst, Integration.
Your main challenge will be the functional analysis of our bi-directional integration solutions. You ensure that well-tested and documented solutions are delivered which are consistent with the product offering. You will work in a multi-disciplinary (C++, ABAP, …) global team where every discipline provides a piece of the complete integration solution. You are responsible to design, validate and document the final solution in close collaboration with all stakeholders.
Knowledge dissemination of the developments and the integration product offering in general is a vital aspect of your role. You ensure both customer and non-customer facing colleagues have sufficient knowledge for day-to-day operations. You will work in close collaboration with training and documentation professionals to define, create and spread the necessary training and documentation.
As a product analyst, you will be involved in providing solution design support to customer solution project teams on our integration solutions.
Depending on your interest and skills, other tasks can be combined in your daily tasks for an interesting and challenging job content to your liking. Some other roles are Product Analyst SAP Integration, Technical consultant, Solution Design Support Consultant.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, complemented with a university degree, are indispensable in this job. Experience can be substituted for degree.
Being able to define and adhere to a project scope are considered vital traits. You can translate conceptual thinking into practical business requirements and rely on excellent communication skills. You are eager to learn and have a hands-on approach.
Experience with or knowledge on some of following concepts are considered a plus:
- SAP (PP or MM)
- Any programming language
- Project management
- Webservices technology (e.g. REST)
- Supply chain knowledge
